Zo Twist does not get a lot of love here.
Nice string. Lotsa spin. durable, arm friendly, and settles in well after the initial drop.

You can compare the strings for spin potential here:

http://twu.tennis-warehouse.com/lear...ringfinder.php

Click each row of the strings to see the details. Then click/unclick the blue text for more information.

I understand "control" would be hard to measure, but using stiffness as the measuring stick puts guts on the bottom of the "control" list if I'm reading it right.... and that doesn't seem right to me. In the actual world of playing tennis, are gut strings considered poor control strings?

I have a friend who swears by zo twists and loves it. That's why I put it on here to see what people think.

I have tried all the strings in the list and I would have to say BHB7 or dunlop Black Widow (I'm convinced they are the same exact string). I think I'm the only one but I didn't get that crazy spin from tour bite, and the string had way too much pop for me.

Under "spin potential" I see 16 gauge strings having a higher number than 17.
Why is that? I always thought thinner strings have more spin.

Personally, L-Tec 5S mains and 3S on crosses give insane spin, controlled, heavy, kicking spin.

Funny enough I have thought this exact same thing... They play so similar its crazy though I think the bw is a bit softer it could be just the mind playing tricks

I just bought rpm blast to try... (they didn't have tour bite where I went).. And I really like rpm.. Very comfortable and spin with ease. Not sure on durability I've only played 2 hours and no tension loss.

Give it two more hours until the tension loss becomes extreme.

Something very wrong with that data when it suggests that Ashaway Synthetic Gut for example, has more spin potential than a vast number of polys including Luixlon Alu Rough, Adrenanline Rough, BBO, Savage, BHBR, Poly Pro Tour, Pro Hurricane etc etc.

I would agree with these two.

I find that no matter which spin string you try or even love, they all play much better in the 3 hours or so, but after that they all lose spin potential and playability. Anyone agree with this?

Genesis Onic Series, Hexonic 18L (1.09) -best spin/price value.

Genesis Hexonic is a third generation hexagonal shaped co-poly string. This string offers solid tension maintenance and long lasting performance. The six edges offers very impressive spin potential. Utilizing special chemical additives, Genesis Hexonic is extremely comfortable. The superior elongation characteristics of this string far surpass the competition. Great power and control combined with exceptional playability, Genesis Hexonic is a great value.

Construction: A hexagonal shaped co-polyester. This string goes through several heating stages to ensure optimal performance and string life.

Advantage: A supriisng combination of power and spin. Put in the cost of this string, and this is no doubt the best value on the market.

Color: Red, Black

Length: 40' sets (12m) and 660' reels (200m)

Gauges: 16 (1.27mm), 18 (1.18mm), and 18L (1.09mm)
