Calm down, I never said Rosol would win, I said it would be good to watch because of the apparent bad blood between the 2 players. I know Nadal is the love of your life but no need to jump to his defense every time sunshine

On clay, that is. On HC its a different ballgame. Also pray that Nadal isnt drawn against Fed in the USO

Who are you kidding? We know you MOP - that's exactly what you'll be praying for every night for a month.

No, I'm praying that Nadal IS drawn against Federer at the US Open. Nadal leads the slam H2H 8-2 and 2-0 in HC slams. If Nadal lost, it'd be only the second slam in which Federer gained a victory over Nadal, the slam H2H would be 8-3 in favour of Nadal, and the HC slam H2H would still be 2-1 in favour of Nadal. A Federer victory would mean nothing. A Nadal victory on the other hand would mean that Federer would have lost to Nadal at every slam (and if they meet in the final, Nadal would have beaten him in the final of every grand slam), giving Nadal a stunning 9-2 slam H2H and an utterly dominant 3-0 HC slam H2H.

Nadal has nothing to lose by facing Federer at the US Open.

He needs to bring something special though, a Grand Slam final is like nothing else.

As Lendl said during this years AO, look at the people he has played in those GS-finals. Federer played lights out tennis in the USO-final 2008. Fed also played very good in the AO-final 2010. Djokovic was laying the foundation in 2011 at their AO-final. And this years Wimbledon was very very close and Federer WAS lucky getting that 2nd set, in set 3 and 4 Federer was far superior though.

The prize ceremony at this years Wimbledon was very tough to watch, and this is coming from a huge Federer admirer.

LETS GO ANDY AND GET THAT 1ST GRAND SLAM IN NEW YORK!

Oh, if Murray doesnt win then i hope Federer does!
Me too

10 slamless wonders

Apart from an embarrassing straight set defeat, which is exactly what it would be for Nadal on that surface, think WTF but worse, at least at WTF Nadal could reach some balls, here they'll be flying past him all day. Federer is playing far better, Nadal is playing far worse, Nadal will be tired, federer won't....Just accept it....Don't worry, AO isn't far away, then Nadals chances increase.

I was actually at that match, very impressive, attacking tennis. But you don't honestly think he's the same do you? Come on he's a shadow of his 2010 former self, not even close to that kind of form.

He will never win the US Open again without that form.

I am going to say Murray wins the US Open. With the top 4 being extremely consistency of last year. If they all hold one major after the US Open.....it would make things interesting going into 2013.

If Murray loses.....I hope Nadal doesn't win.

Just as Federer said to Andy after Wimby this year, this was scripted by Roger
