Well, I guess what goes around, comes around. So Agassi is back with Donnay, just like earlier in his career.
But I wonder what happened to his "lifetime contract" with Head? Maybe Head had to cut him loose to save money to pay Sharapova to get her out of her "lifetime contract" with Prince?

Nike didn't 'blow it' and Steffi's Adidas gig had nothing to do with it: Agassi tried to shake down Nike for money for his school; more than Nike was willing to part with. Adidas was just the next biggest fish in the apparel ocean and they caved in.

Yes, I read his book. But, he did hate tennis the whole time he played not just when the old man forced him to play. Its likely that being retired he has a lot of time on his hands and Tennis is his identity and he likes being in the limelight.

Back to Pros' Racquets and Gear. I wonder why he chose the X-P Dual? He looks more like a Formula 100 user. Or it would have been cool to maybe debut the Pro One OS. |

That's not true. When he came back, head shaved, and had his revival, he was loving it. Until the back problems...
Donnay is trying hard to get back in the racquet game; Agassi is certainly well known.

Comparing old Donnay and this new Donnay is like comparing Warren Buffet and Del Boy ('Only fools and horses').

Saw several 3.5 Central Park GOATs HAASing(tm) with this stick yesterday after watching Chillitch match. Very inspiring moments of GOATpleasure on court 8 especially.

It's weird seeing Agassi and Sampras not being sponsored by the rackets (or at least the racket companies) that they were associated with throughout their careers.

Well, Agassi was associated with Prince, Donnay, and Head during his career.

Every contract has an out clause.

Yeah, but the "out" for a "lifetime" contract is to die.
So maybe Agassi had to dye his eyebrows, then fake his own death, and then attend his own funeral as a guy named Phil Shiffley?
