if its gunmetal... then why is the bag black and red? O_O doesn't Head match the color of the racket to the bag or vice versa? For example, the Head Radical series bag is black and orange to match the orange on the radical rackets, djokovic's bag series are black and white to match his racket etc...

Relax dude, its going to be awhile till we see some actual pics of the stick!! (lighting on the camera always changes the contrast)

Is this just a cosmetic change of current Youtek-IG tech (ie. a different paintjob), or are they going to be traditional Prestige 100% graphite or graphite-twaron composites

Head needs to make this racquet with a 16 x 19 pattern.

Thumbs up

Bring back the silver and green one that David Wheaton used. My favorite color and version.

i actually prefer the prestige pro 600 over the prestige classic or tour 600 as well.
since you´re the expert, did head change anything substantial from the pro to the classic? i always thought they were pretty much the same.
also, is the u.s. version of the pro different to the austrian version or is it just cosmetics?
thanks

So, Head is releasing a Prestige MP racquet for its 25th anniversary?
Wow, I can, uh, you know...hardly contain my, uh (yawn), excitement.

I was excited initially, when I thought Head might re-release one of their classic prestige mids, so this is a definite let down for me.

Why would Head re-issue the 660/102 instead of the 600/93? The latter is a much better racket which was used by many ATP players.

Re-issues are generally disappointing and you can buy old 660/102 18x19 Prestiges relatively cheap so why would anyone want the re-issue? The 600/93 18x20 are fairly pricey used. That would seem to be a better re-issue candidate IMHO.

The 25th aneversery racquet is not a re-issue. It is not 660/102. It is The IG Prestige MP (630/9 with a black and silver paint job.

Prefer the Prestige Pro 600 because of the cosmetics. There was supposed to be no difference or change between the Prestige Pro 600 and the Prestige Classic 600 except cosmetic. Also the only difference is cosmetic between the US Pro and Austrian.

thanks. i´ve played with the classic and tour for some time now and recently acquired 3 pros(2nd gen, austrian).
for me, they play differently. the ball seems to stay a little longer on the strings with the pro. something i really like.
the prestige pro reminds me of it´s cousin the elite pro in regards of feel.
only that the elite pro is a little bit more flexible

I have been a fan of PC600 for years until I recently bought 2 Prestige Pro 600, really happy with the decision. They have beautiful cosmetic and really shine in the sunlight. It weighs 330g unstrung but doesn't swing like a heavy frame. And like you said, Prestige Pro 600 and PC600 are quite different. Prestige Pro swing lighter, feels softer and has lower power. And like you said, the ball sinks in the stringbed a little longer. I put Volkl Power Fiber II in it, but will change to gut for more power soon.
