i hadn't updated the weight on my drivers license for 15 years it seems. i got my old man license on friday and i wasn't completely truthful about my weight. i subtracted 15lbs and the DMV woman still laughed at me and said, "you've gained some weight, honey!" DOH!
i think my old license must of said 165 or sumn. i put down 195. doh!
FML

i bageled a set for the first time in a loooong time. it was sweet. i just had to focus a little more on return of serves to make sure i didn't give away any free points off of some weak azz serve. i was in the zone and at one point when the dood hit a ball down the middle slightly to my backhand, i felt my own FED FEET ,as a zipped with ten little lightning steps to crush a forehand. it was awesome. after that the guy stopped playing pattycake and tried way to hard to crush his 1HBH but he kept missing. dunno why he changed his game but mentally he knew he was toast. woo woo.
i usually feel bad and cough up a game to be nice.. or just get lazy and they win a game, but i kept the hammer down until we were shaking hands at the net.

VAMOS!

Sweet dude. It can be fun burying people. It was always funner on the basketball court though.

When I was in college for that one semester I had longer hair. After my last class I would go the gym to play basketball. These dudes were picking teams and they look at the white dude (me and nobody picks me).

Then one guy was like "Aiight I guess im stuck with the white boy" Being the only black (hah) guy on my high school team i was used to being the last guy picked.

Any way I beast a couple rebounds like I was playing less talented WNBA players. Get few easy easy put backs, then the dudes getting pretty pumped. Nobody asked me what my name is yet. I get a rebound kick it to the PG and start runnin. He hits me with a sweet pass but the guys goes to block so I just pull the little revers reverse layup off glass.

The dude who who picked me starts yelling. "Yea, thats what Im talking about Mankind" Everybucket I made the guy would yell mankind. i was wearing my Degenertaion X two words S*CK IT tee shirt so he just called me mankind for like three solid months of playing pickup BBall.

Apparently I looked enough like this guy to warranted being called Mankind.

Well, I got to warm up, but only because I was there at 7am. I doubt I would have played so well otherwise.

Yeah, it would have been a totally different match for us, too...B and I spent two weeks playing in the brutal conditions to have that advantage!

I heard from the Firedragon. He's being coy! But I think we'll be teammates again.

C'mon now, you gotta include Downs in that ultimatum too.

Sorry guys. I'da liked to seen a TB in that crucial first match ya'll lost, something ya'll would've had a real chance at. Damn, I shoulda found a way to send ya'll a "pie."

The crucial TB actually ended up in the match between the MD team and the other NOVA team. We needed them to win so we could duke it out between our teams on Sunday for first place! The last court was the last one done that day, and both NOVA teams were watching and cheering loudly! It was heart wrenching to watch...the players put everything out there though!

We had chances in our first match. Just not as easy to see on paper. Because of the rain they moved us inside and we went to no-ad. The lack of warm up and the waiting just seemed to effect my partner rather badly...and we didn't convert any of our ad points in our second set.

Eh hem...ummmm...both Downs and I will be at Sectionals! We both like 'pie'!

Actually TM has been developing a new technique to defeat his giggly/drop-lob master in his secret development lab.

I have been just practicing and try not to make a fool out of myself. I know TM will be the first to post that I got a bagel in front of his giggly friend. (at least I know I will LOL) Frankly I am just happy there isn't negative scoring in tennis (i.e. golf).

After losing my first 5 matches to submission.

I did this and got the W.

It took me about 7 minutes to finally get and I was exhausted by the end. Thank god it was my last match of the day.

JRK, went to this place for a gyro last week..

http://www.yelp.com/biz/jannat-kabob...zza-washington

holy shiet.. felt like i stepped in bin laden's afghan hideout with women in full burga. wasn't sure if i had to cross a security check point when i got my bag of food and walked out nor was i sure that my bag of food wasn't gonna blow up..

on the plus side, their curry was decent.. and the wheel of lamb for the gyro was delish..

Went really well.. love the boot time.

Also, I returned my Mac Book Air and got a loaded 13" pro. I could use the extra CPU juice for mixing and real time line-in manipulation. The display is not as good but it spends a lot of time hooked up to an external monitor.. Main Stage is some of the best keyboard modeling software I've ever used and it's only $30.
