Dang, it's like a 15 min drive from Smithsonian.

Sap: How much meat did they put in?
got a open face gyro... pile load of fries and about 6 inches of good meat piled on with creamy gyro sauce splattered all over. good 2lbs of food

If they dont have Chicken Queso burritos what kind of place is it.

I get it confused with QDoba, my bad.

qdoba definitely has more variety but i find the individual ingredient quality better at chipotle

maybe chipotle has more turnover so the food seems fresher but isn't actually

Thanks for that vote of confidence, HW.

And sorry, Sap, name-calling is best left to the kiddies.

Actually, I'm quite proud of the way my teammates/players handled themselves through that tirade. I was to play with my regular dubs partner's 18-yr old daughter -- and while HS tennis can be rather cutthroat around here, I hated for her to see such drama. Despite what you may hear, Downs, we rarely have much of it.

To everyone's credit, all three lines were played well...no further issues anywhere. I think, maybe, everyone was being on their best behavior so as not to stir things up again.

Thanks ya'll for letting me vent.

Now about lunch, I had leftover Chicken Tagine. Yum.

ooo.. Chicken Tagine? Did u use any pickled lemons? If so, did u make or brought? I can't find it anywhere nowadays. I heard from my neighbors that they usually make their own during the late fall.

Downs, I thought you used up the whole "tennis being played" allotment by yourself.

Seriously???? I find it strange you are having a hard time finding hitting partners.

Have you tried the USTA find a partner feature on their website? I've found quite a few hitting partners there.

Are you playing USTA? A good portion of people who would commit to practice on a regular basis are probably into USTA, so you might increase your chances there.

Outside of that, I've done stuff like printing out a flyer and hanging them at tennis clubs or at Rockcreek or Haines point. Or you may want to look into some tennis ladders in DC.

We have a few local leagues here and that is how I started my tennis networking. There have to be 10 times more up there.
