On some of them. The one that is in the museum in Cincinnati has no code, just his name.

Looks like Haas has been through a lot of racquets. I see that there are three of his 238.1s for sale, that he has used the 238.4 and a couple of Dunlops. His frames seem to be around 360 to 370 grams.

I think that Murray's frame would be fun to have but they are so rare, especially in personally used form, that I think that it would be impossible to get a pair of them. WRT Haas, it seems that there are several of his older frames still available.

I wonder if FabFed has tried to get a Murray frame.

Too bad FabFed doesn't know how to measure swingweight or balance.

...I think.

It looks like it is printed on(not a sticker). It looks like it is part of the paintjob.

Default Murrya grommets

Could they be using some Prestige pro gommets on the PT57A 16x19 or is it technically impossible?

i think Haas was just testing out 16x19 during the Australian season.

He went back to the PT57A in 2009. I think his Dunlop molds were an attempt to copy the PT, because he was a PT user in the mid 90's when he first started on tour.

Thanks VsBabolat
Could someone explain clearly the differences in the mold between the PPro and the Pt57a?
Longer channel apparently on the Pt57a on the last grommets, drilling obviously 18x10 vs 16x19

Thanks everyone for the info. So the two I should be looking at are the TGK 238.5 and the 231.3, is that correct? And of course, maybe I should give the PT57A a try. I wish I knew people that had them to test. Anyone willing to part with one for a week or two?

Very very good racket, just add 4 - 8grams at the top, and it will play like a dream.

This is one of the best rackets ever made to the retail market.

No, I really like my Prestige but I hit with the PT280 way back in high school for short stint and like it, just not the 18x20. Maybe now the 18x20 wouldn't be so bad, but if I could get the same layup as that with a 16x19, to me that would be the best. We'll see. I'll keep my eyes open for a PT57A and maybe pick it up and try it out.

Thanks everyone.

People respond to the level of competition that they have at the time. You can't really compare the Fed at 25 in the current environment to what Fed would be like if he was 25 in the current environment. Fed could have upped his fitness level in response to the competitive environment - just as Murray upped his game with Lendl. Federer said in a post-match interview earlier last year that his girls were a bigger priority - that happens when you get older and have a family.

So Andy's frame is hard to find......

How hard would it be to find Sloane Stephens' old frame? A PrestigeMid with a 16x19 pattern?

That's the racquet I would love to have. Should have jumped on that opportunity when TW had them ~3 years ago. Too bad they were sold out in 30min.

I'm no PT57a or PPro expert, but got a friend who got a PT57a...

From my observation, the main diff is the beam width, PT57a is around 19-20mm, the Prestige Pro is slightly thicker, around 21-21.5mm.

I maybe wrong though, experts on this subject feel free to weight in or correct.

The PT10 is 19mm.

The beam width looks the same to me on a PT57A and MG/YT/IG Prestige Pro.

Strange... my friend's PT57A is almost exactly the same as his Trisys PT280 (China batch) which was supposed to be 20mm when I compared them side by side...

Whereas, the Prestige Pro that I got is slightly thicker at 21mm or 21.5mm...

-- Donno whether his PT57 is a fake or not, which I heard about that a lot.

The PT10 (Prestige mids paintjob) is definitely thinner at 19mm though.
