dude, this is the place I hit all the time. I was there three times last week. I usually call ahead and drive it back.

Their Kubieh is good but alittle spicy (in terms of spices), bone-in chicken is good, but if you feel like spending $13, go for the lamb chops! It's awesome!
You have to wait at least 15 min for your food cause all their kabobs are cooked over a charcoal pit (it's in front of you).
Remember, when ordering (and the guy in the front has the personality of the Kabob Na zi), tell them no salad! You'll get two sides instead of one.
They got great sides! It's alittle greasy. But it's sooooo.... good.
Lahori Choley (chickpeas) I think you can only get it cooked right at this place and Ravi Kabob's down the road.
Spinach and Potato. It has a good kick to it. But really not into spinach.
Since today is Friday they serve Haleem (Goat cooked in this lentil stew. has a really good rich consistency)
and Bindi stew (Okra) didn't care for it too much. I prefer my okra the Indian way, dry and fried.
Oh yeah, get some of their raw onions and squeeze some lemon on there. It's goes really well with the sides.

Also, they bake their breads in a gas tandoor. Really good chewiness to their bread. Goes well with the cilantro/mint yogurt mix they give.
I'll definitely go next week again. if ur free and want to meet at Smithsonian, I can drive up there.

@JRK: Have you been to Crystal City Restaurant? =) That's VA's version of a boobie bar.

Haha!

One of the gals I work with juices regularly, and brings it in sometimes. Most of them taste really terrible!

I've had the first one you posted before. Not bad. I know there is no added sugar, but the sugar is still pretty high.

Have you tried the low sugar muscle milks? They have some good flavors too (banana smoothie...cake batter, yes, I said CAKE BATTER!)

I think I'm going to try to go Friday.

Gonna take a cab straight there since I'll be drinking. The wife and I ate at some place right off U Street (kinda near Bohemian Caverns) during restaurant week. Can't remember what it was called, but it was nice inside and the food was pretty good.

Haha, when I first moved here someone told me that place had great steaks. I didn't go because at the time I wasn't eating meat. A few years later a female co-worker told me that she was tricked into going there by some guys that she worked with (during her time at the Pentagon). Then she told me what was inside.

I dont understand, if thats the flavor how could not say that? Im not exactly sure how cake batter tastes though. I guess it depends on what kind of cake. Was it choclate cake batter? vanilla? sponge? pound?

Anyway muscle milk aint bad.

When my dad was in his arnold swarzanegger mr olympia mode he would make his own meal replacement shakes. It smelled nasty, i never got the courage to try it. But here what he would do.

Two cans Tuna
I baked potato
water
mix
drink

I just mixed up a Met-rx

xbox or pc? Did you get Close quarters?

So wish I had a PC for this game. The super huge maps in the next DLC are going to require more than 24 players - Caspian border can be a ghost town in conquest.

Metro on conquest is pretty fun sometimes. It's pretty fast paced and a lot of battles. Plus once you push the other side off the "B" flag, you basically have them spawn trapped.

Should have to pay full price for XBL, you can usually find a gold card out there for about $10 off normal price.

sap: dang ur fast! told u not to get them salad. never ask kabob palace for salad. Cardinal rule #2. #1 is never ask for anything that goes oink.

which side did u pick? Jannal is good too. But tell them their friends at KP says hi! =P

Yep, drives to work alot recently. Metro is not bad, but their train schedule is really inconsistent nowadays. I can stand taking longer, but I can't stand being late 10 min's one day and early for 15 the next. Really throws my schedule off after work to prepare for family dinner and getting kids.

Usually I just order ahead and take back. Really only takes 20 mins roundtrip, and usually if it's before 11:45pm. 14th street bridge is not that bad. Yes, like TC, me fed too.

Oh yeah, i forgot to mention, the later it is, the more business they get. Plus it's Ramadian. Hope your food came out within 3 hours.
