i train kids in our club. usually they get rackets from me for a few months while they decide, if tennis is the sport for them. once they´ve made that decision, they usually buy new racquets. it´s a system that works

Folks,
At most tennis centers, a lot of grownups play tennis and throw out the balls after a few uses. Most tennis centers then put them in a recycle garbage can. My son and I pickup these balls up about every two weeks, and bring them to an animal shelter. I can't tell you how happy the dogs are to have a soft tennis ball to chew on. It helps burn up excess and nervous energy that they have sitting around in cages, and for some adds a bit of happiness to a rather short and abusive life. For the parents out there, please do this with your kids. The best gift you can ever give your children is having them give to someone else. Last edited by tennis5 : 03-02-2013 at 12:18 PM. |
