He is indeed back with Prince. Many threads about Donald. I don't want to rehash, but amazing that so much attention given to him. His mom probably made him make the switch. He has managed to alienate almost every reasonable/decent person or coach outside of his family. It's over for Donald, he's going nowhere in a hurry.

"Donald Young back to square one?"

I'd be more interested in seeing a thread titled this.

His mom seems overbearing and definitely not the person who can take him to the next level.

Wanting to hit the ball with more power, Young switched racket manufacturers in the offseason. He didn't like the change, so he kept changing. The more he changed, the less comfortable he felt.

Fed up, Young decided to switch back to a Prince racket this week, which is what he said he had success with last season. He said he felt much more comfortable, hitting the ball how and where he wanted Thursday. He doesn't plan to change again.

Well, the draw is out so I think we can all agree that this surely puts him in solid contention for a medal in London.

Maybe he should switch again. Dude hasn't won a match in about 4 months. Interesting article about how he could have done the "honorable" thing an withdrawn from the Olympics to allow a better player to represent the USA. Tired of hearing about his "potential" when he won as a junior.

It was either on ESPN's website under the tennis section, or on CNN/Sports Illustrated web site on Olympics tennis. I'll try to find the link later and post it. It was a fairly long and detailed article. It wasn 't meant "to hate" on Young, but was just trying to deal with the facts. Did mention that had players such as Fish, Querrey, and Baker not had medical issues etc...., they would have been going instead of Young.

He played a Prestige as a Jr. He does need to step up his strength both mental & physical.
