everytime I play my knees and back start hurting real bad.

well there are a lot more overhead shots in badminton, compared to tennis, so that could contribute to your back
knees, could be the lunges that you have to do and the constant explosive movements required. do you stretch before playing? what level do you play at? (like relaxed rallies, medium paced, or fast pace with tons of back and forth) see a doc? =) |

then my suggestion would to be stretch
and to strengthen your leg and back muscles off court =) |
