Question Will NBC show the gold medal singles matches LIVE on the West Coast?

Or will they hose us once again and show them on tape delay in favor of showing the Today Show instead even on the weekend? I'm getting conflicting information from the NBC Olympics website and the TV Listing websites and my Comcast on screen programming guide. Some say it'll be broadcast at 9:00am PST (which would mean tape delayed) and some say 6:00am PST (which would be live). So which is it?

I thought we finally got away from NBC's tape delay programming in favor of showing the Today Show for Wimbledon now that it's on ESPN, but they come back to bite us in the rear with the Olympics?

Well the men's final is a Sunday, so there shouldn't be any Today show ********.

Yet, the NBC Olympics website's TV Listings section shows that both the women's and the men's finals will be shown at 9:00am PST Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Live would be 6:00am PST.

You can filter the TV listings by zip code or time zone and by sport.

Well every event is available for live stream online, right? Even if it's not live on NBC, we can still watch it live online?

From the tweets I've gotten, it's live on all time zones, so you can wake up and live vicariously through your players.

Apparently NBC must have gotten a lot of complaints and realized the folly of their ways for tape delaying tennis matches and have changed their minds to show both finals live.

BTW, watching on TV in HD is far superior to streaming it. On the NBC Olympics official online stream site, they put a big border around the screen and show advertising at all times and when it disconnects the live feed to switch to the commercials and back, it crashes my Flash player.

yo breakpoint just stream it illegally like everyone else in the free world. I don't trust nbc to do anything live. everything is taped. btw, in the olympics primetime rehash notice how they only reshow events that americans win? so if americans aren't winning at table tennis, they just won't show it again. That means you must like to watch sports that americans excel in. So if you really like badminton, you need to catch it live during the day when everybody is at work or suffer through boring replays of track and field, swimming and gymnastics, that is another reason why i hate nbc.
