However, Adams has apparently not signed an LOI.
That may be, however it runs contrary to multuple coaches I've spoken with recently. One of them has been a head coach for over 30 years and currently at a top 10 program year in and year out.

This has been the situation with an LOI in all sports for decades. I think you had a communication problem with the coaches you spoke to.

I always admire the way you put things when in disagreement. I'll go back and confirm my communication problem. Ha ha

I hope there's really good because Stanford lost their 2 top players this year, and my worst nightmare is to see Kandath play #1 next season...!!!
Tsodikov lost 1st round @K-Zoo already he's still in the back draw..the kid who beat him lost(retired)the next round..

Hey Clark,

I have liked your previous analyses on each year's big 3 potential recruits who have the ability to immediately impact a team's lineup. For this past college season, the best possible recruits you indicated were Jack Sock, Mitchell Frank, and Marcos Giron. I was wondering who you thought the best possible 3 recruits were this year? Was it Bjorn Fratangelo, Mitchell Kruger, and Mac Styslinger? and Who do you think are the big 3 for this next recruiting season?

yeah, #2 seed at the zoo, with wins over the likes of ouellette, simmonds, venus, and former illini ruben gonzales (twice) in the past three months...probably belongs in that list

This year, the big three all turned pro: Fratangelo, Peliwo, Krueger. That is pretty unusual. I think that leave a lot of very good players who were originally in the #4-#8 range, and we will have to see which ones become the best this spring. None of the guys who actually went to college were in the elite level where people are speculating that they might skip college. That is not to say that none of them will be college stars, because a couple probably will.

This year, it looks like Ronnie Schneider (early UNC commit), Mackenzie McDonald (northern California kid), and Connor Farren (also northern California, been sick lately, I think), although the group right behind them has some guys who are very competitive with them. Will be interesting to see if Stanford can keep one of the northern Cal elite kids home.

Looks like stanford is "High" on Farren's list along with USC and "Medium" on virginia. Mackenzie McDonald has been linked to UCLA through the grapevine but we will see obviously nothing is official.

Peliwo is Canadian and I don't think he was considering US college tennis. But, I may be wrong. His results this year are the results Americans should be striving for before deciding to turn pro.

I just listed him because he was on TRN. The British Columbia players are part of the USTA Pacific Northwest section and get USTA rankings, and their tourneys get picked up by TRN, etc. He was up to #2 on TRN behind Fratangelo before they both turned pro.

McDonald is going to UCLA or pro. I doubt Farren has the grades for Stanford since he has been homeschooled. Stanford needs to find some elite players. Right now they have a bunch of #4, 5, and 6 players. I do like their chances in the bottom positions, but definitely not the top.

Which means they have a bunch of #7 ,8, 9, 10s. I'm not even sure about the strength at the 4, 5, 6.
Farren's issue has been a wrist injury from last year (not sick that was McDonald but he is fine now). I would think a kid like MM would look beyond just UCLA, but don't know.

They have a deep team. The main problem is that most of these elite guys dont have the grades. Teams like USC and UCLA can take guys with 1500 sat scores, stanford can't.

Does anyone know if Ward-Hibbert is still going to A&M or if he turned pro?
