MrMike, thanks for posting that video. I just bought the Ki5 PSE for a more arm-friendly racket and I thought my racquet was broken or something when I heard the "sandy" noise. It's fairly noticeable sitting in my quiet office, but I'm assuming it won't be a distraction while playing. The noise should only apply to the Kinetic line.

The Ki 5 PSE is a HEAVY racquet. I tried it, and I'm sorry to say, I can't handle it. You must have 24 inch pythons!

I think you are exaggerating to be kind. I have six on them, my buddies have them and reading several hundred posts on TW I have never had anyone say they could hear them when playing. If you can hear it when playing, and I doubt you can then you have a defective racket. We really have to shake it up right on someones ear to hear it and most of the time they remark they cannot hear it.

I picked up one in the used bin at the local tennis shop and I heard the "sand" immediately..and I'm half deaf from playing guitar for years.

I have a prince air freak that makes the same sound, but it's because of excessive drill flash, not any "technology". It's called "poor quality control" in that case.

By the way, who is that in your avatar?
