MrMike, thanks for posting that video. I just bought the Ki5 PSE for a more arm-friendly racket and I thought my racquet was broken or something when I heard the "sandy" noise. It's fairly noticeable sitting in my quiet office, but I'm assuming it won't be a distraction while playing. The noise should only apply to the Kinetic line.

I think you are exaggerating to be kind. I have six on them, my buddies have them and reading several hundred posts on TW I have never had anyone say they could hear them when playing. If you can hear it when playing, and I doubt you can then you have a defective racket. We really have to shake it up right on someones ear to hear it and most of the time they remark they cannot hear it.

I have a prince air freak that makes the same sound, but it's because of excessive drill flash, not any "technology". It's called "poor quality control" in that case. By the way, who is that in your avatar?
