Hello
Im interested in the ig prestige mp. I tried it it back in january but from the what i remember, it felt pretty muted and dull. Im trying to switch from the I radical. Ive tried almost every racquet out there. Nothing current except for the head speeds or diablos have the crispness/tin feeling im looking for. However the head speed feels too big and unstable and the diablo feels too heavy. Is it just the strings that made the IG PRestige MP dull/soft/muted? WHat strings make it feel lively and crisp? I have had this problem with other racquets and NXT or luxilon ace seems to do the trick. BUT im demoing the prestige mid right now, strung it up with ace, still dull....Is it the technology? will NXT do the trick? I dont want to spend anymore on demos |

When you say dull, do you mean dampened? Because that's how the IG is suppose to feel.

You needed to buy the previous model.

You need to pick a stiffer stick. If you like the way the prestige swings, try the prestige pro, definitely a little more tinny/ crisp than the other two IMHO.

If you want crisp/tinny, go for the Youtek instead of the IG. I have both but play with the YTs - the IG is a better racquet in terms of sweetspot and comfort - I use the YTs because my IGs are too heavy.
I have tried Head RIP 17 and BB ALU Rough in one of my IGs. The RIP was lively. The BB ALU Rough is more muted.
