He should have retained Brad Gilbert, but maybe Gilbert declined to coach full time for him. I guess he can always go to Todd Martin with help on the serve, but it didn't work for Nole

Placement and variety are things that are also rather innate, I feel.

I believe Kei will definitely break the top 10 and likely the top 5 one day. He's consistent and has a great forehand. And his other strokes are dependable but no extreme threat to others. But he has many years to develop his strokes and be a top 5 player. He also did pretty well in the Olympics and hopefully he'll do well in the USO too. Wishing him the best.
