Default TW HEAD Prestige Classic 600 Reissue

I know TW reissued the Prestige Classic several years ago but it has since been discontinued. I was wondering if anyone knew how TW goes about reissuing racquets of yesteryear (ie the recent ones of the Pro Staff 6.0 85). Is there any chance TW will reissue the Prestige Classic 600 again?

interesting fact. back when TW was selling those.. the Flipper almost bought out the stock from TW for his pro career

had them painted black and customized by Nate

if there was any doubt those Austrian raquets were good enough for the ATP pro tour...

That's pretty interesting, jorel! Anybody else wanna chime in? I'm hoping for this thread to capture the interest of TW so they might consider another run of PC600 reissues.

i'm pretty sure there would be plenty of demand for re-issued PC600. i'd certainly pick up a couple.

There's plenty of demand, at least from posters on here, but with a few exceptions, TW tries to sell the newest rackets. Not "classics".

I have three now. I would get one or two more to last me. I don't think TW cares what racquet they sell as long as the profit margin is acceptable. I am not saying that in a bad way.

It's not up to TW. The brand, in this case HEAD, has to be willing to have the racquets manufactured.

I approve of this thread! The Prestige classic brings back a lot of good memories for me. I wish I had picked up a few the last time TW sold them.

Would the origin of manufacture be of prime importance or would you guys be happy if just the spec and cosmetic were exact? Getting Austrian made frames is not a possibility any more (we have asked repeatedly).

What about a reissue of the PT280? Again, it would be made in China.

I would be thrilled if they had the same specs, composition, and cosmetics as the original Prestige Classic mid frames. I think most of us would be content with that. The Classic mids that TW sold a few years back looked terrific. I think there are a lot of people on TW that would have an interest in these frames.

As far as the PT 280 is concerned, yes, I think that would also generate a lot of interest as well.

Origin of manufacture doesn't really matter to me. It's really the specs and cosmetics that matter most! Also, a PT280 would be incredible. Gosh, Chris/TW, you guys are awesome just for listening and even considering what your customers suggest.

If the spec/cosmetic/layup were the same so that the frame plays and feels like the older models, then the origin of manufacture is unimportant to me.

If it still has the famed twaron/graphite feel, I'd buy 2 in a heartbeat.

Specs/layup/cosmetics for me, both the mid and PT280. TW can do a poll if you guys want to be very sure.
