Default We want HEAD PT630 CAP

After the talk in the Head PC600 reissue-thread it´s time we get serious about helping TW find out the interest for a batch of reissue Pro Tour 630 CAP.

Last time the PC600 was reissued the price was from what i remember around 150 $, so we imagine the price will be around 150-170 $ for a PT630 CAP reissue as well.

How many frames would you buy if TW today announced they will bring the PT630 CAP back? And please be serious about this and only post if you have a genuine interest.

If specs/composition are very similar to PT280/630, I'd buy 3 straight away. I tend to think that a capped version will be infinitely more popular!

3 in 4 1/4 for me, where do I sign?

A pair in 5/8 grip, if they would use the Speed pallets I might buy 4 or 5 frames.

If they get it right, I'd buy 3 in 4 3/8.

Count me in. I'll take between 6 and 8 if it is made with the same materials as they were in Austria. Graphite and Twaron.

A re-issue would never be the same as the old 280/630. You would be better off buying one on the auction site and capping it. You can still get used Pro Tours in very good condition for $150 or so. I would much rather have the genuine article than a re-issue myself. Re-issues are never as good because too much has changed (the resin system for one.) Head would probably just take one of the current rackets and give it a PT paint job.

Even with current resins and graphite the Pro Tour 630 will still play better than what is offered in the current line up. I have played with newly minted Prestige Classic 600 made with modern resin and graphite and it played correctly.

I'd definitely be buying a trio of them! (In 4 1/2 grip!)

It's going to be hard enough to bring them back as is, let alone with people requesting modifications to the standard specs. Especially one that would just require a little lead wrapped around the buttcap.

I'd definitely get 3-5 in L2 grip, depending on the price

But, as stated above, only if they had CAP grommets and Twaron in their composition.

I'd go for 3 in L4 as long as they're available in TWE. Don't really want to import them from TW USA due to taxes.
