I just received a 2012 Tfight 305 VO2 Max to demo. I popped the butt cap off and was surprised to find no silicone in the handle. Why would Tecnifibre market their rackets as having silicone in the handles if they're not going to actually do it?

Tour Prepared huh?

I'm surprised you would un-staple the buttcap of a demo racquet but i'm also surprised that the silicone claim from TF might be bull...

Yes, well, there might be a small amount compared to what we amateurs put in and it might be further up the shaft.

I have no problem pulling the staples out. I can easily put them back in. And I did get the flashlight out and check the entire shaft. Nothing in there. I'm losing faith in Tecnifibre.

Given that silicone costs virtually nothing its hard to understand why they would do this.

From what I've read here even a little silicone weighs a lot, so it must be hard to balance things if it is added post production.

Are there any major differences in the 2011 TFight 320 vs the 2012? Is it only the paint or are there other subtleties?

The only difference is the paintjob. They're still plain jane graphite rackets. No technology what so ever incorporated in these frames.

So both used Silicone in the handle?

Local dealer is clearancing the last model for $100...looking for a steal if they are the same as what I have been demoing.

Does anyone here know the swingweight of the 325 vo2 max xl?

Also, had anyone hit with one recently, if yes how does it play and what does it compare to?

Thanks

Count me in this club. I'm playing with tfight 320 vo2 max. I'm thinking to put it a leather grip and a 3grams at 3 and 9 o'clock. I want to make it more stable.

Been using the T-fight 325 for about 6 months now. The best racquet I ever played with.

Anybody here with FULL NAT GUT setup for TFIGHT 320 VO2 MAX? I am using FULL NG with mains 16 at 58 and crosses 18 at 61. I'm interested in others experience with full nat gut for tfight 320 vo2 max.

Why? What are its stand-out features?
