Did you guys hear what J McEnroe said when they were discussing DN's win?

They were discussing his win and JMac chimes in:
"Novikov had no business playing juniors and Kalamazoo, when your 19 and a sophomore playing #3 at UCLA you just shouldn't be playing juniors."

Seriously folks can't make this stuff up.

Translation: This little sh** took this spot away from one of my brother's PD kids, the USTA could have looked so good if it wasn't for this SOB.

Never mind Jack Sock turned 19 two weeks after Kalamazoo last year and it was his second year playing, I didn't hear him complain about that, but now that the spotlight is on.....

Truth is a lot of people don't like this kid including USTA, sure don't see many WCs in his future..

Ah the inside of tennis is soooo ugly.

Wow, great win for Novikov!! Bradley Klahn (Stanford, NCAA champ 2010) plays Melzer and Steve Johnson (USC, NCAA champ 2011, 2012) takes on Rajeev Ram on Wednesday. Hopefully at least one of them advances to the 2nd round.

i think it's more personal than sticking up for his brother actually

novikov took down jmac's pupil rubin in the semis - considering rubin had just beaten krueger, reasonable chance he wins that tourney and gets his usopen shot if dn isn't around

but yes, jmac and pmac say whatever idiocy fits their agenda, what else is new?

Burdette into the 2nd round...shaky hold, but put it away. Not the same player that choked in the 2011 finals against Embree. Haha

Austin Krajicek won Kalamazoo in 2008 and already had a semester at Texas A+M and Bob Van Overbeek made it to the finals in 2010 after a semester at UF...

Wasn't on national tv so I didn't see it. Also didn't end the longest home winning streak in NCAA history!
