SC is a sleeper. They had a young team last year, Ramos did not play up to expectation as a senior.(I always thought she was over rated)

I think Coach RG is too nice with the girls.

What does "1 more year" mean?

for sure a sleeper ... top three are solid, but they really need a top freshman to help them get over the hump.. seeing how Burdette is doing so well in the USO ,Zoe and Danielle has wins over her this year.. D.L.'s win in the NCAA was hugh.. if they could have gotten Krista Hardebeck, things would be really interesting.. this is the kind of recruiting I'm talking about that USC women's team needs ..
1 more year? I'm changing my allegiance if they(men's and women's)don't do well this coming season..

After the USO win there was a mantra throughout CA - please please please go pro (and get out of college tennis). So I am with ya on that one. However socal10s, it sounds like you are a fair weather fan? Or do you just like spreading the love to all of socal?

Sad that Pepperdine is sanctioned again, Adam is a cool cat.

UCI recruits pretty well locally. Men's team seems to underachieve, while the women's team does well.

It's nice to see a lot of the local socal kids play at UCI.

My sentiments exactly.
Exactly true. It's a merit based scholarship. Let him keep it. Sonds like he worked hard to EARN it.

D1 men's teams are tough .. if they were D2 they would win the NCAA ,they should win the ''big west'' this year .. maybe get top 25..

Seriously. I read an article that said even students from rich families should receive merit aid because if they're forced to reject it, that is detrimental to the student as it is saying something along the lines of "even if you work hard, if you're rich we won't reward you further".
