Are APD GT and APD GT French Open 2012 different racquets?

Because few weeks ago I tried to find out steel weight position in handle on APD GT (yellow/black ) in shop with magnet and if I remember correctly it was only at one side of the handle ( where original lead weight channel is molded).

But now I have APD GT French Open 2012 version at home and there is steel in this channel ( 2,5 -7cm from butt cap) and ALSO on the other side but only in PU foam ( Steel plate about 3cm long and 1,5cm wide, 2.4 -5.4 cm from butt cap)

Can yellow APD GT owners check if steel is only at one side of the handle? Does somebody played with both racquets? Are they different?
