Re-run of the final set of final on bbc radio 5 live extra every hour until 12 tonight....Great excitement and very entertaining from perspective of a radio listener. Sometimes I actually prefer listening to a match on the radio and catch the highlights after!! Check it out it's quality!

Theres something about listening to a match on the radio....every simple backhand down the line when watching is like a bullet in my mind when Im listening haha!! Love your signature by the way man, something this forum lacks immensly

i listened to the whole thing it was great! I really like the BBC site. We usually get Eurosport or Sky tennis brockcasts in Canada, but an American network had the USO right..groan..However I can get UK tennis on other internet streams and that's great. BTW who is the jeff that was doing the BBC radio commentary?

What a great year for the UK. Jubilee, Olympics which I watched endlessly, Harry proves that being 3rd in line and having lots of money gets your picture makes wordwide news. And after 76 years another UK Slam winner, and my son won a BAFTA.
How much better could the summer be?

I live in the U.S. and was able to listen to it.

OP: Thanks for the link! I never knew how exciting it was to listen to tennis commentary over the radio, but after the stream ended I found myself looking for archived recordings of other matches. I found it extremely enjoyable!

Your welcome guys! Yeah I remember listening to Murrays us open semi in 08 at like 2 in morning on a school night with a blurry radio broadcast...It really is enjoyable listening to tennis on radio
