Visiting London for the WTF

I'll be visiting london from the 3rd to the 7th of november to watch monday and tuesday's matches.

Can anyone advise me some hotels downtown london?
I mean which is the best district to really enjoy the stay without having to spend half the day in the tube or on the bus?

I've been looking on the web for <150 euros/night hotel in london but I cant really manage to choose the right location, as I of course also intend to visit the city and go to some nice restaurants and clubs too.
