looking at the images that accompany the descriptions of each shot I would be worried about the players that may be developed using that model! Each sequence has a fairly fundamental flaw somewhere (extension position on the forehand, or contact position on the two hander for example). Why on earth would you not have technically perfect models in your picture descriptors!?!?

^^^TCF - sure, I think we all know that great players come from a player, a court, a coach and a bucket of balls rather than a gross system. However, I would have thought that in trying to help coaches achieve this the system would at least provide valid exemplars!

The LTA doesn't produce a resource like that no. One or two LTA tutors have produce their own resources from their own research (on the serve for u10's for example), but there is nothing central that I am aware of. The RPT do (although it isn't specific for u10's). The ITF I'm not sure, if they do it will be on iCoach I would think, but i've not seen anything like the USTA piece.

Wait a minute. Are they advocating a gravity step (right foot straight behind left foot) for the forehand and 2-handed BH unit turns? The 1-handed BH unit turn looks like what I thought it should be.

And are they advocating closed stance as the preferred forehand stance?

Or is this a problem with the graphical depiction?

Edit: And why are they advocating E grip when all the pros use SW or W? Is it due to health concerns about young arms?

I think you are right.
There are AT LEAST 2 articles(see below) plus some post at the forum of www.tennisplayer.net
(myself included).
You may check posts by the user of the name licensedcoach(no space in the middle)

Typing macci in the search engine of www.tennisplayer.net will get you there
There is a latest addition of the flip (by Macci).
There is a presentation at the current USPTA conference about serve ( I believe)

User "licensedcoach" is a generic login given to all LTA licensed coaches in the UK and is therefore likely to be a different person each time! Just so you know!

I'll have a look at the Macci articles and see how they fit with my own thoughts!

Couple loose ends:

Majority of articles THERE do NOT have time stamps

As I have said above the flip is the "latest addition" for Macci et al
It is taught at some clubs in Massachustts as well (with a limited success)
I have to deal with this issue lately.

I used to have a login name julian at www.tennisplayer.net
Now I use from some red tape reason the user name julian1

USTA supports some effort (plus possible documents) about
a transition from 10 under to 12 and above
