The Pro Kennex Q5 295 and 315 are scheduled to arrive at our warehouse this week (hopefully Wednesday)!

Unfortunately, we do not plan on playtesting these racquets at this time. However, we have hit with the racquet and can answer any questions you might have about it.

how'd you find it? I found the 315 quite solid, a little too heavy for me to fling around.

The 295 felt fast, crisp and easy to hit spin with. I hit it with a poly around mid tension and it felt comfortable -- as do all Kinetic racquets.

I preferred the 315 out of the two as it offered better plow through and felt more solid on volleys and touch shots -- which allowed me to soften my grip more for additional feel.

Did you happen to replace the stock grip with a leather grip on either the 295 or 315?

Moving from a Pure Drive GT that I weighted to 11.6 oz. Loved the power but developed arm problems. Which of the two would be most similar (does the 295g feel flimsy as compared to the PDGT?)? Thanks!

If you go with the 295, go in expecting to add weight.

I really like the 315 and play well with it. I think it would offer more of the feel you are looking for right off the bat, but you should demo first since it's a pain to try and remove weight.
