You should try drinking while you play. It's pretty fun. Nothing like a bunch of 3.5 to 4.0-able drunk idiots playing like 3.0's because we cant read the spin on the ball because our eyes are looking in two different directions.
Would not recommend drinking in league matches.
Save it for Sunday free play, and later afternoon/night games. You dont want to be drinking beer at noon during a league match in the blazing sun.
Done that more times than I care to mention. My 4.5 team is a merry bunch and we often bring beer to practices. Oddly enough a beer or two sometimes makes me play better - if I'm tight, it loosens me up. More than 2 beers though is not a good idea...
