Joseph DiGiulio had an amazing tourney for a junior, and is only about the #18 blue chip this year.

Hey hey! Good to see Ben Horst in action. I remember that guy from the old days of high school tennis. The wars we used to have. Good times indeed.

Not a big tournament but still good win for Stanford and good to see the young guns already making some noise. I think the two new recruits Paige and Romanowicz are going to be real assets for Stanford this year.

Oct. 7, 2012

DAVIS, Calif.- Stanford wrapped up competition at the Aggie Fall Invitational on Sunday afternoon, highlighted by Jamin Ball and Nolan Paige snagging two titles apiece.

In addition to registering a runner-up singles finish in the Flight A division, Ball paired with Trey Strobel to capture the division's doubles crown.

Meanwhile, Nolan Paige defeated Maciek Romanowicz 6-1, 6-4 in all-Stanford final in the Flight B division. The two rookies then teamed up to claim the division's doubles title.

Stanford is back in action next weekend at the Battle in the Bay Classic.

Went to the Wake Forest invite to catch some action, link:
http://www.wakeforestsports.com/spor...101212aab.html

Vick from Ohio St looked really good, although Lee from Wake didn't look good at all or like he even cared, that match was not close. Amogh Prabker and Rafael Aita from UNCW both looked really solid, Prabker won in the third. Saba from Duke looks strong, wish I could go tomorrow to see him play Prabker, that should be some big hitting.

Thanks for the Wake Invite info. I guess you realize that Nelson Vick is no longer at Ohio State, and the Wake player you saw was Amogh Prabhakar, not Prabker.
