I'm sure there are a few people here down for a hit.

I would usually be one of them, but the new additions to my family have me tied down for a bit.

*yawn*

i'm out of tennis action for prolly a week or so. i sliced my hand with the razor sharp top from a tennis ball can over the weekend. i had left the top in my tennis bag and forgot about it. nice inch long deep cut in my playing hand. can i sue the tennis ball can manufacturers? shouldn't they have a warning label? if i win will people hate me because balls will cost $10 a can?

more importantly - what's for lunch folks?

I thought it was only 14 bucks for an all day pass. And 28 day pass are 230 which turns out to be like 8.25 a day. Take the weeknds out and its like 11 bucks. So I could see if you are only going a3 or 4 days a week to just hook up the daily pass.

That sounds like a ton a moneythough though to ride a train. But I guess gas and time and parking costs more than that a day?

Thats why I like the country

How do you know the regular refs get that play right? Thats a once in a lifetime event. And why is that packer guy trying to catch it? Why doesnt he knock it down like they are told 1000 tinmes to do on hail marys? When was tates left hadn on the football? Simultaneous posseion goes the the reciever. You can catch a ball with one hand. They never call intererefnce on those plays so rule that out. That play is closer to bang bang than it appears. I dont think that is that blantant of a mess up by the refs.

And I dont think the regular guys would have done any better on that specific play.

Yeah those rates you quoted are correct. My $15.45 total is from $5.35 each way plus $4.75 all day parking at the Vienna station. It is a lot of money, out of pocket, if not re-imbursed ~$310/month.

Driving in and finding a place to park all day is crazy and even more expensive!

Also, yay for single line tracking this morning due "hanging wires" - NOT!!!

hw -- i agree that jennings was uber dumb for not batting that ball straight down. we see it all the time in this situation -- why are defenders trying to catch that ball? padding their stats? do they get a bonus for interceptions?

on that specific play - the regular refs probably come to the same conclusion. but it likely comes sooner and with more conviction. plus all the other calls in the game are faster. and they might call pass interference when tight ends get tackled.

the real effect of these replacement refs has to be gambling. who's betting on games with these refs?

paulman -- that works out to about six racquets a month you are not able to buy and demo. that's a travesty. you could probably make that up by not feeding your kids dinner. just two square meals a day.

Yeah for sure tm! Again, thankfully my company says they're paying the Metro costs. We'll see how good their word is when they get the bill from me! haha

All I know is that for the past two weeks, I noticed these corelations:
- Dogs are winning mostly
- Games are usually under
- When Home Teams are fav's they mostly loses.

Sorry to hear about your hand. Can you hit with your left hand? =)

lol. i didn't cut it trying to make guacamole. but it's silly that tennis can tops are razor sharp. in my lifetime i probably have cut my fingers a dozen times or so playing tennis. i have never cut myself making guacamole.
