Latest stringjob for my BLX PS 6.1 90 with my usual setup (Tour Bite 1.20 @ 44/42 lbs) but this time I put some Power Pads to see what's up with them :P

Thanks, no that's just the normal paint job. I sold the Pure Storm Tours though.

I decided to treat myself and strung this up earlier this week:
![]() The full size version is here. It's Pacific Prime Gut in the mains with MSV Co-Focus crosses, both 16ga. Should be pretty dreamy.

looking good. Let us know how it goes. What's the reasoning behind 16g on both sets?

As for the crosses, I want to maximize life before they go dead (to keep up with the gut as well as possible). In my experience, thicker strings take longer to go dead than thinner strings. That said, I'll probably end up restringing just the crosses while the gut is still in good shape.

I know RPM has a bad rep but I swear the Team holds up way better than Blast. Here's a pic after 6 weeks of play and right after a two hour session where I didn't straighten the strings. They were still snapping back into place and control was still excellent. The durability is incredible. About a week after this pic was taken is when I decided the playability started to degrade to the point I should cut them out. ![]()
