lol
He can lose the first round in one tournament and win the next one and vice versa! He's done that before.
Challengers? You're kidding! He got to the semis in Valencia, why should he play challengers? Nothing to gain from it.
It's not like he's in slump and out of shape like AA was or as inexperienced as D. Young is.
I wouldn't be surprised if he wins another tournament and I'm not the only one.

Both favs, Nadal and Federer are cruising through the 2nd round.
Ferrero is looking good, too.
With the performance of Coria today I don't see him in the semis, if it wasn't for PHM and his "beloved" choking he would have lost against anyone else...with 20 dfs

Ferrero vs Ferrer should be a good match. That Federer vs Ballaret could be tricky, i believe he is from monaco, so he will have a huge cheering section.

the crowd won't get to Fed, as was shown in the USO 05 final against AA
Ballaret shouldn't depend on it

Federer (-5000) vs. Balleret (+3500). I think Bengie's luck runs out tomorrow. Good wins over Rochus & Grosjean....could have made some real good money.

Welll... I guess no Nalbandian at the finals.
He lost to Tommy Robredo 7-5; 1-6, 5-7.
He had a great chance to win at 5-5 40-15 on Tommy's serve, he managed to get a great return, and netted the easiest volley.

Well... tough luck. Entertaining match anyway

Then Tommy goes down meekly to Gaudio.

Gaudio/Nadal will be awesome tomorrow. I think Nadal has dominated Gaston since their match at MCCC last year, and he is competing awfully well this week. I just do not see Gaston out-hustling or overpowering Rafa....but who knows? That is why they play these things, right?

On the other half it is Federer/Ferrer...Ljubo/Fernando.

I am for a 1 vs 2 final, all the way. But I've got a nice feeling about a certain Chilean Davis Cupper.

I can see an upset from Gaudio, he's been playing really in form
The other SFwill be Federer vs. Gonzalez, and I can ALSO see an upset

Nadal beat Gaudio 6-3, 6-0 last year in the quarters. What's changed? Nadal is the only player who has yet to lose a set. Gaudio had an impressive win over Robredo today but I can't see him giving Nadal too much trouble. Another straight set win for Rafa.

Whoa,
you cats probably already know this, but...

spoiler

Gonzalez just defeated Ljubo. That is a good win on any surface (injury or not). Ferrrnando gets a shot at Fedi in the semi.

Gonzalez beats Federer in straight sets? You cannot be serious! Do you know Gonzo is 0-5 against Roger? I hope you win some money if you're right. Betting against Fed is like playing Russian Roulette.

P.S. 60 matches down...3 more to go.
