1. Rios and EVERYBODY else

2. McEnroe v Scanlon......real hate and lack of respect from both sides. JMac and Scanlon still talk crap about each other.....a classic.

Becker and Agassi was a good rivalry too, read that Brooke Shields would heckle Becker at some of their US Open matches. Agassi also said he lost to Chang because he would rather lose to Chang than to Becker who he was due to play next round one year at the US Open. INteresting comments by Agassi, how he'd prefer to lose to certain players as opposed to other players.

Rios certainly had some enemies. In the Rios book titled "Marcelo Rios: The Man We Barely Knew" Todd Woodbridge said that other players got up to play Rios, that they had extra incentive because of what an arrogant *****k he was. Gambill said Rios tried to stare him down in the player lounge before one match. But Rios also got along with certain other players like Berastegui, Koubek, Vicente, Lapentti, Di Pasquale, Joyce, Bjorkman, Henman, T Johansson, Spadea, Dent, Magnus Norman, etc. who all said they liked him and got along okay with him.

Looks like a friendly gesture to me. Seems like Agassi was a little paranoid...

Ashe called Conners unpatriotic for not playing Davis Cup. Connors responded with a $5 million libel suit. They both were quoted as wanting to beat the crap out of the other guy... off the court. It was a real feud.

Nastase also had either semi or full-on feuds with Ashe, Tanner and Hans-Jurgen Pohmann.

During their opening RR match of the 1975 Masters in Stockholm, Ashe had enough of Nastase's antics and racial abuse, and walked off the court. He was officially disqualified, but later so was Nastase.

However on other occasions, Ashe publicly defended Nastase, like after the 1976 WCT Challenge Cup final, when he had called him a bloody n*****.

He had an altercation with Pohmann in the locker-room after their 1976 US Open match, who he had spat at and labelled as Hitler.

And he had a confrontation with Tanner at the next during their 1974 US Open match.

Brad Gilbert and David Wheaton nearly came to blows at the net during their 1990 Grand Slam Cup, pushing each other and having to be separated by the officials.

Gilbert earned about 20% of his entire career prize money during that one week.

Conners sued Ashe from $3million in 1975. It wasn't that Ashe was a goody two shoes as much as Conners being a real arse.

JMcEnroe and Scott Davis had a near fight after a doubles match on grandstand at the US Open. Davis supposedly had to be restrained after.

Heard Roddick berated Djokovic to such an extreme point of abuse after their US Open QF night match in 09 that Djokovic was crying literally crying. Total physical humiliation. Took Djok over a year to recover actually.

"Man with a Racket" is a great book from Panchos perspective and "The Game" is from Kramers perspective as an opponent and tour organizer who had to deal with trying to get Pancho to play tours. I have heard lots of stories about how Pancho battled all the guys he played and encountered during tournaments. He also had six wives showing that even marriage was a battle for Pancho.

Gonzales and Hoad were good friends off court, they travelled together in the same car, played pool together, drank together, etc. all on the cheap motel circuit. Sound like fun?
There was one report, however, that Hoad was angry that his wife found Gonzales to be charming.
