Hi all - I'm a total beginner - just started playing last week, and I'm hoping to find some fellow beginners to practice with (or better players who are very patient and/or desperate for hitting partners).
I work at UC Davis, so lunch time at the UCD courts would be ideal, but evenings would work as well. I live in Sacramento so I can also play there in the evenings or weekends. Thanks, Scott |

I recommend checking out the UC Davis Tennis Club, there are people of all levels at the hit arounds on Fridays from 5:30-7:00ish.

Hey Scott,
You've probably thought of this already, but you may want to look around for a backboard/wall as well (or even a racquetball court if you have access to one-- maybe at a UCD gym?). If you're practicing with a fellow beginner you may find yourself spending a lot of your time picking up balls, or bunting the ball back and forth to keep the rally going. You'll get more reps from using a wall (and you won't have to worry about arranging a time with someone else). |

Check with Dale Hersch at the High School/Community Courts on 14th Street. He might be able to help set you up with someone in the Davis Tennis Club.
