Nevolo and Rowe both get to the Irvine Futures semifinals. They are on opposites sides of the draw so they could meet in the finals. They have both advanced to the quarterfinals of the singles as well.
Roelofse also is in the doubles semifinals and singles quarterfinals of the Kuwait Futures. Gonzales lost in the 2nd round of singles but has advanced to the doubles semifinals. Draws and Results

Rowe/Nguyen and Nevolo both go out in the Irvine doubles semifinals. Rowe/Nguyen lost in a 3rd set tiebreaker. Rowe and Nevolo both lost in the 2nd round of singles as well, Rowe to the #1 see.
At the Colombia Futures, Gonzales has advanced to the doubles final. At the Kuwait Futures, Roelofse has advanced to the singles semifinals and doubles finals. Draw and Results

Illinois just finished resurfacing their outdoor courts to get ready for next year's ncaa championships. Not sure about the color scheme (thought it was blue and light blue) but at least they're making an effort to get ready as best they can.

Falkin goes down in straight sets in the women's pre-qualies 1st round. Thought she would go a bit further so a bit disappointing. Two women in the qualifying rounds for the Illini.

What happened to Amer Delic ? is he even still playing pro level tennis ? when he was with Illinois, people were talking about him as next pete sampras or something.

I notice that Illinois has been added to the Virginia spring break road trip. Good to see the Illini on the schedule again. I heard that USC comes to Illinois the same weekend.

Kopinski/White advance to the 2nd round of the women's doubles after defeating Stanford's Tan/Tsay 8-5! On the men's side, Gosea was defeated by Clemson's Yannick Maden.

Kopinski and White went to beat No. 6 Kilgo/Adams in the 2nd round and made it to the final eight. They lost to Santamaria/Christian there but a great tournament for them.

Illini in the Rankings October 8. Four Illini set Personal Career Highs this week; Kevin Anderson (doubles #91), Ryan Rowe (Singles #726), Dennis Nevolo (Singles #72
 , Ruben Gonzales (Singles #907, Doubles #335). Rankings Kevin Anderson is playing in the Shanghai Masters this week and won his first round match. His 2nd round is against old college rival John Isner. Anderson has won the last two so it should be a good one. Shanghai Masters

Anderson fought a great match against #12th-ranked John Isner, losing 6-7 (4), 7-6 ( 8 ), 6-7 (7). Anderson held three match points at 6-4, and 7-6 in the third set tiebreaker but couldn’t close it out.
