Dimitrov's forehand doesn't have that whippy motion Federer does.
A part from that, their playing styles are pretty darn close. |

Lots of potential but the biggest difference is in their footwork. Dimitrov slips and slides unusually often for a top player, which is in sharp contrast to Federer's near perfect balance.

Dimitrov better start figuring it out more consistently soon; he's nearing 22 without even sniffing top ten status.
