The original version was always 23 26 22 so there's no change with it.

323 strung swingweight is normal, but the stiffness is way over the original.

I really think that it has more of a threatening apperance than the previous one! Very nice Pj in my opinion. But is it me or the throat looks a little bit too long?

I'd love to hear in a bit of detail just how stiff and harsh this thing really plays. I do fear the worst TBH.

yeah the stiffness is rather scary. i thought the current one was already as stiff as they could go.

as for the PJ, i just hate the huge stretched out font plastered everywhere.

A stiffness of 74 would make it stiffer than the Pure Drive, which makes absolutely no sense.

To much focus on the stiffness imo! The 2012 PD has high stiffness but it doesnt feel that stiff. The active cortex actually seems to do wonders. It will be interesting to try the 2013 APD out and see because i used the APD GT for over a year and can make a direct compare

Current APDGT has a swingweight of 331, 8 points less is something you feel.

All main brands are trending to lower swingweight. So this was to be expected. Also the gap between APD13 and APDGT is roughly the same as the difference between the PD12 en PDGT, 11 points.

Lower swingweight generates less power, therefore a bit more stiffness in the hoop i guess.

Also hoping that the APD13 has a stringbed which is a not so open as for example the Instinct or Tflash or even Prestige S.

The two versions before the current one were 324 from memory, so its a return to the previous norm.

Stiff is stiff though. I thought the same about the 2012 PDr but after a while my shoulder just hated it.

It's just me or the first APD PJ (no-cortex) was the best??

I think the new paint scheme is awesome! I like how bold the Aeropro Drives are, the way the Radical line used to be bold and stand out.

This version has more black, gives it a more classy look.

Well I have been playing with the 2013 Aeropro Drive GT for the last few days and honestly I cannot tell the difference between the stiffness of this model vs the previous model. I know the ball lands deeper in the court with the 2013 model perhaps because of the stiffness. I know there are some people out there that cannot use stiff frames, especially with stiff poly string like luxilon. However, I never had an issue like this with any of the Aeropros.

1- Given that the throat ot the new Aero is different if compared to the GT version, do you see a difference in how the racket feels when swinging? That is, does it still cut fast through the air like prior Aeropros?

2- Besides the stiffness, does this new Aeropro have a more dampened or cushioned feel if compared with the GT version?

Thanks
