I have a scale at home that displays 0lbs when I put my racquet on, I'm not too familiar with this kind of thing.
Anyone know where to buy one? |

You need one that measures one to two decimal places of a gram.

Go to Amazon and get an American Weigh digital pocket scale SC-2kg. Less than $20, very accurate, portable, and perfect for tennis racquets.

I have just bought a digital scale that shows either grams or ounces.
My Exo3 93 is 345g strung, which seems about right if you factor a standard 15g for strings onto the 330g unstrung weight. And my old Prince Pro 110 is a hefty 372g. That one will sit in my collection of vintage rackets. All I would say is, go digital. But it doesnt need to be anything state of the art.

For weighing small items like vibration dampeners, overgrips, and lead tape, I found it useful to have a scale that measures to the nearest 0.1 grams. The one I mentioned in my previous post can do that.

I bought an inexpensive digital scale at Target. I tested it using water and other objects of know weight and it's accurate to 1 gram.

NOT GOOD ENOUGH! It's common knowledge that tennis players can feel a fraction of a gram difference!

[quote=floydcouncil;6937228]LOL, if a 5.0 can't feel .5 oz difference, he must not be playing tennis. 0.5 oz is huge.
