The Shock Shield grip might be a good idea. If you try it, don't be discouraged by the larger grip size because it will compress after a few sets and feel normal sized after that. If it turns out you need a lighter racquet, PK just started selling the Q5 295 version. It's a bit stiffer and more powerful, too, so it might ease your transition to a granny stick.

having seen your rather quick strokes, think your arm/shoulder might agree more with a lighter/easier swinging racquet.

I actually played my best tennis with a super light Prince O3 Purple. It was a Sports Authority knock off of the O3 blue. That is too light I realize but you are right. With my strokes, a lighter racket with the O ports is probably a good call. I will admit, the extra spin with the Tour is intoxicating!

Wow, I played incredible with this racket last night. I'm going to put in an order for 3 of these bad boys today at TW. Going to throw these into these multis into the order. I'm pulling the trigger before lunch today, so if anybody has some last second suggestions, lemme know:

Volkl Power Fiber II 16 String Black
Volkl Gripper 16 String
KLIP Excellerator 16 String

I think V-twist is the latest offering Volkl has that replaces Gripper. Maybe you would want to try that instead of gripper? The silver lining on gripper will surely rip away with your topspin strokes.

OK, I may switch that one out.

I don't think Ashaway Dynamite is going to last in a 16x18 frame. I'll look into the other two.

Good to hear. For me, while it played awesome, I am just so grooved to my apd that the feel was just a little off and I never quite felt comfortable with it. Glad you like it, though.

Too springy for me, especially with multi, but if you play well with it, that's what counts. On the plus side you can get incredible spin with it, and I agree it's the most comfortable racquet I ever tried in recent memory.

A little birdie here on the boards can get me a better deal on the Rebel. Something about the Exo just clicked with me. I adjusted much quicker than I thought.

I figure if I can play well with a full job of Sensation, some better strings will really make it come alive.

At least you are buying close to Halloween so its ok to get scared. Seriously, if you think it will improve your game, just do it!

The racket is pretty expensive for something that came out what seems like 2 or 3 years ago. Sigh.
