its ok for a phone to weigh somewhat. It tells you that you have substance. what i meant was size wise. i didn't notice any change in size. then i looked at Galaxy S3 next to it and i said, Wow, why would anyone buy the iphone ?

Right because size is everything with phones..lol. You continue to make fail posts.

I cant wait to size down a little - my EVO has a huge screen.

There is a whole new row of icons on the 5, how could you not notice that?

I promise you guys I will do another screen to screen test today, but I did that with my EVO LTE versus the S3, and I found my screen to be better. I tried my coworkers i5 against my EVO and the i5 has the deepest and richest screen I have ever seen. the EVO holds its own, but it does not have the depth and detail.
Maybe it is my imagination, but I dont think so. The anadtech review verifies my opinion.

Every single phone new high end phone right now has a killer screen. But when someone tries to compare the s3 to the i5 the way Fedace is, it leads me to believe he has never seen the iphone5 or has serious eye issues. That and other comments he has made are a showcase in trolling and simply making things up.

The iphone 4s really blew me away with its video. I had my new evo and was doing video comparisons against the 4s with a friend of mine. I did not expect the 4s to have such great video but it was easily as good as my much newer phone. So I am excited to see how the i5 video looks.

A white iphone probably. It is smaller and white seems like a nice chic paint job.

The s3 and EVO are large. I have had more than 1 girl ask if mine is a tablet and say it's too big. I would agree, it fits in my hand just fine, but when it is in my pocket it is cumbersome.

Droids are much more geared to tech people in my experience.

I hate the widgets and multiple screens to scroll through personally. I have everything on 2 pages in my ipad, and I find the iOS to be extremely easy for a non tech person to use.

Throw a pink case on top of a white iPhone to maximize the girly factor. I have everthing in folders on my iPhone. It is all available with 1 tap on the first screen. I don't do the multiple screen thing.

I have a new favourite feature - panorama photos.

In the past I've used Photosynth, which did a reasonable job but was a bit fiddly. Panorama in iOS 6 is sooooo smooth. It's one of those pieces of software where you think 'Well, of course that's how it works; how else would you do it?'

And just in case we have any Apple fan bois, or Applebots, or whatever you're called in this thread: as today is the anniversary of Steve's death, Apple have put a video tribute that automatically plays when you visit the website. But if you're a fan boi, you'd already know about that.

No, I only go after people who go after other people just because they use Apple products. I said right away that both products have their good and bad points. The Android is far from perfect but I got a sweet deal on one and so I'm giving it another try. I'm not someone who rags on others for the phones they chose to use like you are.

See the difference there is that I am absolutely againt Motorola's/ Verizons Droid line. I think their software is junk. Samsung's Android software is generally good and doesn't get bogged down the Droid stuff doesThere are quite a few features that I like and I'm willing to check it out since the price is right.

Yea Ok...

I'll disregard the inaccuracies in your post and try to keep the discussion substantial.

So price point was your main reason to switch, or did you have some other problem with the Iphone besides expense?

I have it in my hand. Its a magical, mythical beast. Dloaded all my apps already and imported my contacts. It is so freaking responsive and fast.

When I was driving from the store I just used Siri. I asked it to take me to the tennis warehouse forums. It pulled up tt from the request in literally no time. No hitches or anything. I literally have the phone with emails and contacts totally set up already..it took such little time..wow..goating.

Im staring at this thing like its a hot girl..lol. Cant put it down..major honeymoon phase happening.

This is a big reason why I like the device...its so damn so easy to manage. Trust me, I spent 15 years dealing with .IPD files and and Blackberry BBSAK Java reload white screen 503 wiping and drama trauma that it amazes me that Apple has made it so easy.

I don't see anything wrong or unmanly with admitting that as well. I make a good living as a technical whoar in the city so I'm tackling epic IT issues daily but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the effortless smooth beauty of the iPhone.

I hated Apple for years. I still will not buy an Apple desktop or laptop. Although I want one to start checking out iOS appdev.

I am really glad I am now using an iPhone.

I spent alot of time with my friend's S3 and there is simply no comparison in my opinion.

Anyhoo, this speck case is beautiful but I'm weary of the weight, need more bulk. But its such a sick case...

Sounds good! I just wish an iPhone worked the way I wanted it to. It would be nice to have options when coming to make a decision, although I suppose i'm lucky in that Android do have alot of phone options.

Haha yeah, it always seems to for the first one. My girlfriend ordered some clothes off the internet and wanted me to message her the pictures earlier when they arrived. I iMessaged her them off the iPad and had a conversation of 6-7 messages over an hour or so, the only timestamp on the conversation was the first one. Really weird!

Glad you're enjoying it, no doubt it's a pretty special phone.
