You can throw Murray into that debate as well - both of them have the smash of a player ranked in the 100s.

These last few months maybe - it's something that Mr Lendl had him focus on, but I've seen plenty of overhead fail from Murray. His own brother says he has the worst smash in the top 100! Novak is just as bad right enough - the OP is spot on with that.

Lol no. Federer's is decent compared to the best, but Nadal isn't as good as a guy like Edberg, Tsonga or Sampras.

He has THE worst smash of any number 1 player of the modern era.

He looks shakey everytime he hits one.

Don't think that is going to happen so quickly Clarky! Don't think Cvac is done quite yet. Chumps like Berdych and Tsonga are not likely to beat him that is for sure.

Tsonga ain't a chump. Djokovic just played superb today.

If Tsonga improves his footwork and his BH, he can seriously do damage him.

On Berdych.... ok, he truly isn't cut out to trouble Djokovic.

He can't do it better, he wear contact lenses, can't see the ball at certain angles, that's the reason, not bad motion or technic.
