It's funny how on the paper in the middle of the hoop it shows nadal and tsonga holding the "new" aeropro but if you look closely its just a photoshopped picture of nadal and tsonga holding the current racquet.LOL look on babolat's main page with there top players. You'll see the pose between those pics of tsonga and nadal are very similar.

I hope you're kidding, there are racquets that generate more spin than aero pro, since you're talking about spin. The design "aero" doesn absolutely nothing to generate spin.
Try the Yonex EZONE Xi Team 102, a lot more topspin is that's the reason you buy racquet. I have tried the VCore 100S, that one does provide a lot of spin, but how can you measure the spin potential and say Aero Pro produces more topspin than others? Can you say that Aero pro the balls jump higher?
Either way, no offense to you or other people that believe that racquet is spinnest racquet out there, I think you guys need to get over this psychological Nadal's influence.

Right, it also sounds like a snare drum, I couldn't get use to that noise either, besides all other problems.

All companies use photoshop... it's been like that for a while.

Just held the new aero pro in my hand. Looks nice. Active cortex, hollow handle, slightly different paint, it looks cool. Swings about the same as the GT. Didn't get to hit with it as I was in a shop. It appears Babolat is changing their symbol to two stripes that cut off at a diagonal for international copyright purposes. They're phasing out the storms and storm tours as well. The propulse 4 will be pretty cool too. One to match the pure drive and one to match the aero pro.

Any release date on the propulse 4?

Propulse 4 was late January 2013 if I remember correctly. There was also some new grips and overgrips coming and a new RPM string called Dual? or duel? i think. I snapped a pic of the aero but was warned against posting it anywhere. Because of my relationship with the shop I think I'll honor the request.

There was also a new bag that had straps that retracted like a seatbelt. It was pretty cool. The APD was beautiful as you all have seen but it appears there's quite a bit to be excited about coming from Babolat in the very near future.

i think Babolat needs to come to terms with the internet and simply put up its own better photos as 'teasers'.

Its for a coming article in the magazine i write for. It will be extremely interesting. I really liked the update from the blue PD GT to the black active cortex PD. It felt so much more solid. Will report how it plays after the weekend. Will not post any pics though as it is going to be published in end of november and it will be out in the shops (the racquet) in December here in Sweden

Hmm, not really ready for a full review because the tension on the strings was too tight.. Asked for RPM Blast @ 51 lbs, but it felt like 151 lbs

But compared with the APDGT, this version feels a tad stiffer, no doubt. The somewhat plastic/hollow feel of the APDGt is no longer present and the frame feels more solid.

You can say its EXACTLY the same difference in feel between the APDGT and APD 2013 as it is between PDGT (blue) and PD 2012 (black)

I will string it up in around 45 lbs and give it a go again soon.

I dont see any difference in the frame itself though. Same stringpattern and same mold as the APDGT. There is one slight difference though, but im not sure it really os so because i have no longer APDGt at home, but it feels like the grip is a tad more rectangular in the shape then previous versions.

So disappointed they had to make it stiffer. Maybe they can compensate somehow, but that 74 stiffness is scary.

74 stiffness unstrung is more like 71 strung, so its more or less the same on paper.

My normal set up with the APD is with 25 grams of silicon and some lead at 3 and 9. This is just a demoframe so i cant do that on this frame. Sorry!

Hank I should have been more clear. I meant just the string tension to your best fit
