Just some slight corrections.

And Wimby is an outdoor tournament, and closing the roof just in case it rains is bs,and shouldn't be allowed.
It was in anticipation of the light fading not the rain

It's laughable, to say the least.

How about sit for 5 hours waiting for the rain to stop, go out to play for 30 min, wait another 5 hrs before getting sent home to resume tomorrow? Rinse, wash, repeat, once or twice. Who's laughing now?
Excuses, excuses, closing the roof, is that your argument why Rafa got kicked out in the 2nd round of Wimby?

Give me a break. If they suspended play and Rafa lost the next day, the same people whining about the roof would be whining about Rafa's lost momentum due to the extra long delay. There is no way to win with excuse makers.

I don't care who's playing. Shut the roof for FEAR of fading light in 40 minutes according to another shoddy forecast (btw do forecasts even predict light?)? Who does that? Only a truly dumb poster would support that idea.

Shutting the roof made Rafa lose his match. Is that your excuse? Pretty lame. Pretty pathetic. I'd be quite ashamed to hear my fans inventing excuses like those if I was Rafa. Quit whining!

I'd love to see Nadal play at the AO13. I hope they serve fresh pho soup in their cafeteria.

Is that the food that makes Rafa win AO 13? Humm, can't wait to see. Please post a pic for us to see (Rafa next to a bowl of pho)... Don't forget a bottle of Red Stripe if possible.

Agree. And if I may add, only a DUMBER person for NOT knowing what to do this wonderful technology. Hope you also second my opinion.
Your place on the bandwagon is secure, by the way.

The roof delay obviously had its effect. I don't see how it would have been good for Rafa to go on playing in the tournament anyway, the state he was in.

I would think he did. But they haven't been all that clear about it. But didn't Rafa describe the problem in some interview around Montecarlo, and more recently said it came from February?.
In any case, he must have had the tendon tear then, they did say it happened at Wimbledon.

What has this got to do with Rafa? I'm talking about the roof and Wimbledon. I'm talking about Wimbledon "logic".

Shut the roof if it is raining. But why shut the roof in dry weather with sunshine? That's what Wimbledon does, shut it in fine bright weather (with no rain in the forecast, only "bad light" coming in 40 minutes).

Toni and Rafa used to walk around for hours in the Little Saigon section of Sicily, years ago. They ate noodle soups and got massages.
