What happens to the old model when new one comes?

I guess it also depends on where you live and which brand we're talking about.

Regular price for (black) Pure Drive in Brazil is R$500-R$600 ($246-$295), but the
Pure Drive GT (2011) is costing R$350 ($172) in most places right now, that was a much welcomed recent price reduction.

Another example is the Head Microgel Radical MP. It's sold for $89.95 at TW, but sold at about R$400 ($196) in the stores here.

Power Bridges and Organixes cost roughly the same from what I recall, but then again Volkl racquets are not as widely available.
