nothing new here, good old foxy Noserer at his best. sure, Andy could be #1, but he does need to be more consistent, improve on clay etc. he'll probably reach it at some point in his career, me thinks, especially with injured Nadal and Fed retiring. will he or not remains to be seen.

SMC has been quite gracious about Murray over the past couple of years. He even said one year that he would love Murray to win Wimbledon if he himself cannot.
That said Murray clearly was geared up for slam success and #1 ranking at some point of time. Only haters refused to recognize that.

I don't think it will take Murray 2-3 years to get #1. I believe he'll do it in 2013 by winning Wimbledon.
