if he could get to 312 weeks that would be something, for that is 6 years worth of the top ranking.

And remember even if Djokovic does get back the top ranking soon, he is defending the AO so it's possible Federer could grab it again, though finishing the year as number one would get him near to 312 I think?

Finishing the year as #1 will take him well past 312.

6 years would be 313 weeks, not 312 (since there is at least one additional day along with the 52 weeks of the year).
