these are awesome rackets.. they are soft.. stable.. with some lead at 3,9 and above the grip.. it plays even better than a PT57A.. one problem is they don't have a CAP grommet to protect the frame..

I really love these rackets and was playing them for years. I have quite a few, even a pair of NOS models. I was playing them before the head pc600 model which I also love, and would have no problem switching back to the interationals. I believe I have a few strung with natural and would love to hit them again. Compare the specs:


Head Prestige Classic (355/12.52) / 60 / 331

Racquet Static weight (g/oz) / Flex / Swingweight

Thus the International slightly lighter and more flexible than the pc600 and it also has a slightly larger headsize, so better for spinners but not quite as much plow thru power.

I liked the international, bought a couple to try when i was using the limited, really quite different to most modern frames. The flex is nice but stable, what i found really helps is using the grommets intended for hardcourts not the clay strips, really saves the frame if you can find them.

Flexible and stable is spot on. Only qualm would be that the 16x18 led to the strings popping fairly often.

If you compare this Mid Plus with it's OS variant you will see that were the MP has "Filament Winding Technology" on the inside of the shaft, the OS has "Braided Technology" on it. Does this mean the OS is a different build?

Here is another picture of Supermidsize Mid Plus. Has OS variant got something like it? What about Supermidsize Mid variant and his build?

I happened to see the SMS and the OS together two weeks ago and i was surprised to see the difference in braided or winding technology, that's all. The composition was the same.

Only the Midsize (85sq) is braided Graphite/Kevlar and very thin beamed 16.5 mm
Both the midsize and oversize are very rare!

Well, than my good friend Michel Guilluy got lucky. He was given an Oversize in n.o.s. condition during the Tournoi aux racquettes de Bois in Verviers.
