Talk about an exaggerated article. Fed probably wanted to stop more so to get his head together than to mess with Muzza.

A good, even-handed article would only mention the "gamesmanship" in the first paragraph and be done with it. If this were an article on Federer's Sportsmanship, it'd have made sense. But it's basically a bulletin. The way the writer seemed to go on about it made him look anti-Federer. Maybe he isn't, but that's what it looks like.

More likely very pro-Murray

Of course if it had been Murray that requested the delay, a certain band of people on here would immediately scream blue murder and denounce him for time-wasting, cheating tactics and loudly accuse him of showing disrespect for the hallowed world #1.

Exactly. Typical double standards. No reason why Fed should get a favor treatment.

That is an odd article, to be honest. Articles are very rarely so critical.

How easy it is to sacrifice common sense. The real problem is thinking this sort of thing is okay just so everyone gets the "same treatment", hence the fact that the treatment itself is full of crap is instantly ignored.

I take it the article is talking about the roof closing and accusing Federer of gamesmanship?

I really don't want to click on a link to the Daily Mail you see. I don't want to encourage them
