I love the Aero storm!!!! played with it for 5 minutes and got 2 aces in a critical doubles match for my hs tennis team (I smashed my rebels that day... -_- )

I agree. Go back to red or use orange. As of now it has no identity. Tongsa should or another should probably be using a paint job of it.

Except that, given their druthers, they'd just as soon kill off the entire Storm line: Aero, Regular, Tours and Ltd. None are their money makers, and hearken back to the old style of tennis. If only Harrison weren't so keen on one of them.

Oh, and some retired dinosaur...Pete something...

The only Aero's that will be produced this year are the New Aeropro drives. The Storm, Storm Tour, etc of the aero's will not be carried forward.. Sad as these were excellent hybrid frames our tour specs and technology..

So I guess Harrison gets a Storm Ltd with a PJ for either the APDGT or PD? Assuming he remains on the roster. Ditto for Stosur?

Gonzo's retired, so he's not an issue any longer, but was using the old Pure Control, PJ'ed as necessary, IIRC.

Is Ginepri still around? What's he ( purported to be ) hitting?

The aerostorms are an aero line and not a storm line, and there's been no suggestion that anythings happening to the storm line, not even a repaint in 2013.

That's why the aerostorms are yellow and included in the aero section of the tw page.

They are aero racquets, even if theyre hybrids strictly speaking.

They're going to keep the Aero storm/and tour around for a year or so and then "phase it out" according to a rep. They will keep it around for the year to allow users to stock up as well as their pros and teaching pros. Just saw the new line today pretty cool.

Will there be a 2013 version of the AeroStorm with the active cortex or are they simply going to keep the existing AeroStorm GT around for another year or so? Thanks.

From what I gathered there will be no update and they will keep it around for another year or so. This is based on a conversation with a rep so it might not be the most reliable but he had the new aero line with him so I believed him.
