in honor of jiro's fastidiousness, i sent 2 pieces of white tuna back tonight that looked like it had sat in saran wrap in the fridge for a week. or maybe not in saran wrap at all. bleeeyuch!

i put my rdis200s on the tt classifieds too.. even though they hit pretty sweet with bbo. monkey, i liked the rdis100mp too...prolly should of tried it with bbo strung lower than usual too for more dwell time. but i do remember absoulutely CRUSHING some serves with it. should of kept 1. doh!

dsg didnt have anything good on sale. gotta wait for TW to eventually lower the price. they are only $135 on TWE... so i dunno why head won't put them on clearance in the USA. sigh

Monkey, how is the Silver's upper hoop response? Interested to know if it's basically a slightly stiffer, lighter, more powerful & less HL Gold I had liked a bit last year.

what you said.

i demoed the gold as well. silver is lighter and more powerful. kinda surprising power with a HUGE sweetspot. also surprisingly comfy. i had full poly bed in for a week and zap just strung em up with black magic/maxim touch hybrid and they play soft. i'm missing a lot of spin compared to tour bite though.

i find upper hoop response with the silvers are great - especially compared to my old exo3 tours which were dead in the upper hoop and why even one gram at 12 oclock made a huge difference in playability. i hit high on the stringbed so this contributes a lot to whether i find a racquet powerful or not.

i also have the customization kit and i like the stick stock but found it for dubs to be a bit too even balance. i liked it best with the 10 gram buttcap and strung up with one overgrip and the donnay vibe damp - it's 330 grams dead even.

i got two of em and you are always welcome to demo them. shoot me an email.

it plays fairly nice...like a modern frame -- like a pure drive...maybe not quite as much power...slightly more predictable...still messing with it some...

Wasup TWMAC!

Don't know how I did it, but it looks like I'm playing an event at the Mclean Racket and Health club this weekend. It's a 4 hour event, hope my arm doesn't fall off as I haven't played that much tennis recently. Most of all, just hope I don't embarrass myself.

I also finally switched up the tennis clinic. The 3.5 clinic was more like 3.0 so I tried out the 4.0 clinic and found it to be mostly 4.0 so I switched over.

So what's for lunch?

Also shocked to see TM swinging Donnays. Beware TM, we may have to call in a racket intervention in about a decade when those things are held together with duct tape.
