Sharapova would get punked by Serena in the final. At least Azarenka has the potential to make the final interesting.

If Sharapova plays like she did today she could make it interesting also. Don't think either of them are beating Serena though so the winner today did not matter lol.

What sets Serena apart from Azarenka (who I think can keep up with Serena from the baseline) and Sharapova and basically the rest of the WTA tour, is her serve. It's just not the aces but the high number of service winners or weak replies she will get from them.

Granted, Radwanska was a little beat down from her two previous marathon matches but Serena impressed me so much with her movement today, especially how quickly she reacted to drop shots. Sharapova played very well against Azarenka but if she is able to (or if Serena allows her to) play that well tomorrow, I will be so so so so shocked. Serena saves a little extra beat down juice for when she plays Maria.

Just give Serena the title. Maria hasn't given Serena a fight in ages. YEC, Wimbledon, USO, Olympics for "#3" Serena.

At least one thing is for sure....the Final will be very short. Maybe an hour 6-0,6-0 for Serena.

I considered making a separate thread, but I didn't think many people would comment so I'm not sure. If you think it's necessary, feel free to start one.

Been so busy lately and haven't seen any tennis. Glad to hear my girl Aneres is in beast mode. Hope she hits Maria off the court.

Out of respect for the sport, might as well make a separate thread. Given the WTA, anything can happen.

Since you are so confident you should bet on Serena then. Her odds aren't that high, only -350...meaning you have to risk $350 for every $100 you want to win.

Watched her live today, and this is so very true. There's just a different type of potency in Serena's serve, and she can actually be consistent at it.

She hasnt been in beast mode at all in this tournament, but still too good for the rest.

Pova is in good form so I'd like Serena to raise her level more tomorrow (though it may not matter anyway).
